Ownership: You retain full ownership of your submissions (stories, photos, voice, video, etc.)
Limited License to Us: By submitting content, you grant My Stories Matter a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, and distribute it solely to provide the Services - and only with your explicit consent for marketing purposes.
Content Reviewing: We don’t routinely monitor user content, but may review and remove material we believe violates law or policy. You are responsible for keeping personal backups.
3. Purchases & Payments
Ordering: You may order memory books or other products. Pricing and availability are subject to change, and you’ll be charged at the time of purchase.
Refunds & Returns: You may request refunds within 30 days of purchase, provided books haven't been printed; printed books are non-returnable. We’ll fix or reprint defective products.
Shipping: Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout. We are not liable for carrier delays or incorrect shipping info.
4. Third‑Party Services & Integrations
Our Services may link to or integrate with third-party tools (e.g., social logins, payment processors). Use of these tools is at your own risk and according to their terms.
5. Intellectual Property
Your Content: You retain ownership as noted above.
Our Materials: All branding, site content, and software are owned or licensed by us and protected by law. You may not copy or use them without permission.

8. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
Arbitration Agreement: You're agreeing to resolve disputes through individual arbitration - no class actions. The arbitrator has authority like a court, but limits on discovery and appeals may apply.
Venue: If arbitration is unenforceable for any claim, disputes will be handled in courts located in San Jose, CA.
9. Termination & Changes
Termination: We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of Terms or policy violation, without notice.
Service Changes: We can modify, suspend, or remove features at any time. If possible, we’ll notify you and help you retrieve your content.
Revisions to Terms: We may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted with a “Last Updated” date. Continued use after updates means you accept them.
10. DMCA & Claims
If you believe content infringes your copyright, notify our agent with: signature, identification, location, your contact, a statement of good faith, and acknowledgement under penalty of perjury.
11. Miscellaneous
No Assignment: You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our permission.
Severability: Invalid provisions don’t affect the rest of the Terms.
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of California, excluding conflicts-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in local courts, unless arbitration applies.
